It's been a while since I drew an animal. Used mechanical pencil and colored pencil. The scanner made the image a little dull, since it didn't pick up much of the orange color. I had to use a photo reference since I'm not too familiar with frog and toad anatomy, let alone a particular specie.

LOL I'm glad you enjoyed it. XD I had a simple assignment to find articles related to biology and happen to stumble upon the article about the cane toads. Those things can grow big enough to cover a dinner plate :fear:

Thanks. I used a photograph of a toad as reference. I tried to pay attention to proportions and other antomical features. For example, those big lumps behind the air is the paratoid gland, where they secret venom, often killing predators that try to eat them.

Thanks. The bumps on its skin were a pain though, especially when it came to coloring and tones.
