It's been a while since I drew an animal. Used mechanical pencil and colored pencil. The scanner made the image a little dull, since it didn't pick up much of the orange color. I had to use a photo reference since I'm not too familiar with frog and toad anatomy, let alone a particular specie.
Thank you. I read some birds and rodents would flip the cane toad on its back and eat its legs or belly; avoiding the more poisionous areas like the paratoid gland. There are are also certain snakes and frogs that can eat young toads. I'm not sure if that will be enough to control the population though.

There's nothing wrong with using photoreference. This is a very good piece, actually. You got the colours down pretty well.
The only thing I'd suggest is to go a bit easy on the texture of the warts, bringing it out in certain areas but making it a bit less defined in others, just to add some variation and not make it look quite so "busy".
