A classmate requested a dragon tattoo design after seeing me doodle before class started. I am not too familar with traditional Japanese art and I don't mimic other people's styles very well, but it didn't turn out as bad as I thought. I originally was going to add a samurai into the mix, but I was afraid it will draw attention away from the dragon.

The dragon had more of a dog-like body but the head resembled the Eastern dragons. thats about it.

I looked for pictures of Asian dragons on the interenet for references, especially paintings. I'm not really good at this myself, since I can't really mimic the the style spot on. There are some variations with each painting, so you need to look for the common features such as the mane, serpentine body, and the bird-like feet. Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it.
